It’s a good ending for us at Firefly this year.

 By being the platinum sponsor of Tennis Showdown 2009, Firefly Airlines got maximum TV appearance, advertising and branding before ending the year 2009.

 The Showdown of Champions 2009 presented Malaysia with four (4) world class tennis players – Elena Demetieva, Maria Kirilenko, Sania Mirza and Zheng Jie.

On 18 December 2009, Firefly also hosted a cocktail party at the Heritage Club of Royale Chulan Hotel.

Recently, Firefly launched the commencement of the much talked about new routes to Singapore at a press conference cum cocktail event held at JW Marriott Hotel. The event was co-hosted by YTL Hotels.

Travel agents, Hoteliers, Corporate Companies, Business Associations, and aviation partners attended the event.

Firefly will be making its first entrance into Singapore Budget Terminal Changi starting from 1st July departing from SkyPark Subang terminal.

Our new routes from Singapore into Malaysia further strengthens Firefly’s network focusing on commuters for business and leisure travelers.

The new Singapore route will include destinations like Subang, Ipoh, Kuantan, Malacca, and Kuala Terengganu. Thus, it also completes our promotion of ONE destination FOUR countries, pairing countries together to co-support tourism.

The crowds came on time at 6pm and registered. The event started with an opening speech by our very own outspoken, Herman Mizar (Public Relations Executive). After that, our Corporate Introduction was presented by Angelina Corrina Fernandez, Head of Communications.

The night continues on with cocktail dinner and drinks. Through this, we get to mingle around and got to know people from different industry and this widen our circle of friends as well.
